For hosts

Your place,
for the months you're not in it.

Away for half a year? Moving in with someone? Home Sublet connects you with people looking for a home for a few months, not a weekend — and every shekel goes directly to you.

List your placeAbout ten minutes. The draft saves itself.

What does it cost? Nothing.

It's the biggest difference between us and everyone else.

No commission on rent

Listing is free, and a booking costs the host nothing. No percentages, no handling fees.

The money goes straight to you

Home Sublet doesn't move money. The renter pays you rent and deposit at the key handover — in cash or by a local transfer you've agreed. Give a signed receipt and keep a copy.

Promotion — only if you want it

The one payment that exists here is optional: boosting your listing to the top of search, 7 days for ₪49 · 14 days for ₪89 · 30 days for ₪149. Without it your listing shows up exactly like everyone else's.

Three steps, and no more

  1. 01

    Publish a listing

A few details about the place, a monthly price, dates, and at least 6 photos. Ten minutes, and you can stop halfway — the draft waits.

  2. 02

    Get requests

Renters send a booking request for their dates. You see who they are and what others wrote about them, then approve or decline. No commitment until you've said yes.

  3. 03

Meet and hand over the keys

Settle the money directly with the renter at the key handover. After the stay, you can both write a review.

What it looks like from the renter's side

What you need to start

  • At least 6 photos — natural light, every room, the kitchen and the balcony
  • A monthly price and a deposit
  • The dates the place is free
  • A verified phone or email. Renters see it on your profile

Not everything at once: every step saves itself, and you can come back from your laptop or your phone.

And the landlord?

Under Israel’s Rental and Loan Law, subletting an apartment needs the landlord’s consent, in advance and in writing, unless your lease already allows it. Have it in writing? Attach it to your listing — renters see a “landlord-approved” tag, ask fewer questions, and decide faster. Not yet? Best to settle it before the keys change hands.

Questions everyone asks

What does it cost me?

Nothing. There's no commission on a booking and no listing fee. The only thing you can pay for is promoting the listing, and that's your call.

Who decides who stays in my place?

You do. Every request reaches you with a profile, a verified phone or email, and reviews if there are any. You approve only who suits you.

What if the renter cancels?

As long as no money has moved, you've lost nothing — the dates open up again and the listing keeps running. Details are on the cancellation policy page.

How long can I sublet for?

From a month up to a year. You set a minimum and maximum stay, and every request is checked against them before it even reaches you.

Do I need the landlord's approval?

Yes. By law, subletting an apartment needs the landlord’s consent, in advance and in writing, unless your lease already allows it. A signed approval attached to the listing gets a tag, and renters prefer it.

What happens after I publish?

A listing with everything filled in goes live immediately. If something is missing, a few photos say, it gets a short human check and we write to tell you what to complete. With no photo at all, it can't be published.

The first place could be yours.
